Landor London has unisex bathrooms [single-stall, not Ally McBeal style] and a ping pong table right next to all our cubes - everyone just ups and plays whenever they want - even with directors sitting there : ) The space is pretty open, all the cubes face each other so you kind of stare at each other which will take some getting used to. And they actually have radio playing - unlike Landor Cincinnati where we're all earbud-people.

Today was mainly frantic image searching for a digital movie to be tossed together tomorrow. Learned how to print - someone commented on how 'little' my paper was - 8.5 x 11. Ha! I felt quite in the dark on the brand I was trying to find images on, but it was a rush, so hopefully I'll be filled in later.
Had a pub lunch close to 1pm [those of you who know me can imagine my growling stomach] - veggie chilli = sautéd veggies on top of rice with a side of sour cream. Not quite what I expected : ) AND one of the Sophies bought me a glass of pinot grigio - Yay London lunch! Most of the team came back a little after 2pm, I didn't want to be gone so long, so I came back by 1:30.
I didn't have any afternoon snacks, so I hit a brick wall. Was there until 6pm which isn't normal for me, but I wasn't in until 10am. So I can get used to that - in Cincinnati my bus ride gets me home at 6pm anyway. Thank goodness for the 2-minute walk to my flat!
I decided I needed to exercise, so I threw on some long sleeves, grabbed my keys and just started running up the road. Running here is the complete opposite of large, wide, empty suburban roads! The sidewalks are narrow, uneven and filled with people. Plus, NO ONE else is running! Probably b.c everyone gets exercise from walking and biking. So I ran 30 minutes up and down the same streets. Hopefully I can find an easy route b.c I don't think a perpendicular road exists here.
Dinner is pasta again [spinach ricotta tortallini ain't bad]. I feel like I haven't been eating enough or properly, but it's only been 2 days. It's just annoying having to go to the grocery every day! I'm sure my meals will work out eventually.

i love reading about your day! that's funny about the running. and i liked the chili story too! good luck tomorrow! xoxo
ReplyDeleteDude, run the outer loop at Regent's Park. It's about 3 miles. Nice park, but not as entertaining as Speaker's Corner in Hyde Park.
